Meet Dr. Steve Hong

Dr. Steve Hong graduated from Cornell University obtaining a B.A. in Biochemistry. He attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, earning his DMD in 2001. While attending dental school, Dr. Hong received the Navy Health Service Collegiate Program Scholarship, the catalyst to his enlisting in the United States Navy Dental Corp from 2001-2004 and ultimately earning the rank of Navy Lieutenant dental officer in Camp Lejeune, NC. During his service, he was deployed to Kuwait for five months and given the unique opportunity to serve as a lead dental officer in the Alpha Surgical Company in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Since being honorably discharged from the Navy, Dr. Hong has chosen to deliver the excellence in dentistry in a private practice setting by serving patients in South Jersey and Philadelphia. With a gentle hand and eye for perfection, Dr. Hong is adept in all facets of Comprehensive Dentistry, including routine fillings, cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridge, root canal therapies, oral surgery and implant dentistry. He is committed to listen with compassion and provide the utmost dental care to everyone who walks through the door.

Dr. Hong and his wife live in Moorestown, NJ with their two children. He is a member of the First Korean United Methodist Church of Cherry Hill, through which he has volunteered in dental mission trips to Dominican Republic and Haiti. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, biking, spending time with his family, and is an avid pickleball player.

Meet Dr. Kyra ChU

Dr. Kyra Chu grew up in Toronto, Canada, where she earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University before pursuing her passion for dentistry. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the New York University College of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she received advanced training in comprehensive dental care, dental emergencies, and the treatment of medically complex patients.

Dr. Chu is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. She believes in helping patients feel informed, at ease, and confident throughout every step of their dental journey. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and values building lasting relationships while helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Now residing in New Jersey, Dr. Chu enjoys staying active at the gym, exploring new restaurants, attending live music concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
